George H. Daranyi

In addition to his legal services, his intervention coordinator activities and his leadership activities with The ManKind Project, Mr. Daranyi has for many years been active as a lecturer, workshop presenter and facilitator in the areas of personal growth, spiritual development and recovery. His topics have included: Relapse Prevention, Self-Care, Spirituality, Male Initiation, Total Abstinence, Rigorous Honesty, Finishing the Unfinished Business, and Living in Reality.

His audiences have included tens of thousands of patients and former patients of several well known treatment centers, both men and women, and many civic, church and other community groups.

He has developed two well-received Workshops. One, "Seven Powerful Steps to Self-Care," is a ninety-minute to two-hour experience that can help transform lives. This workshop combines universal spiritual principles together with traditional Twelve Step principles and common sense. It helps ordinary people develop a simple program for self care in order to sustain physical, emotional and spiritual health. The cost for delivering the workshop is negotiable and depends on many factors.

The second is called "Finish the Unfinished Business." It is geared primarily for people who are "stuck" in recovery or in their lives. What Mr. Daranyi has learned and now teaches is that it is impossible to get unstuck--and free--unless one has first finished the unfinished business. This is also a ninety minute to two hour experience with hands-on work to get some resolution around these critical questions: What is my unfinished business? Why have I not addressed it? And, most importantly, what do I need to do now to get on with my life?

Again, the workshop can be run with as few as five people and as many as a hundred or more. Costs and fees are negotiable and vary.
