George H. Daranyi was born in Lima, Peru in 1957 to German and Hungarian families. He is a noted lecturer, workshop facilitator, poet, and attorney.

Mr. Daranyi, an attorney since 1983, is in private practice in Tucson, Arizona. He is a certified leader of men's initiation trainings for
The
Mankind Project. Although he has a general practice, for the past several years he has concentrated in the filing of administrative claims with the
U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of families whose members contracted cancer as a result of the government's above-ground nuclear testing program
in Nevada in the 1950's.
Mr. Daranyi is married and the father of two daughters. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Daranyi held the position of General Counsel of NextHealth, Inc., a
public healthcare and wellness company in Tucson, Arizona. His administrative duties included Risk Management, Utilization Management,
Quality Assurance, Licensing and Accreditation, Human Resources, and Trademarks. Mr. Daranyi also held the position of Corporate Secretary.
From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Daranyi was a litigation associate for Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, and concentrated in the defense of
corporate clients in the areas of personal injury, products liability, and professional liability cases. Between 1983 and 1987, Mr. Daranyi was a
litigation associate at Cowles & Thompson in Dallas, Texas, and concentrated in insurance-related litigation, personal injury,
construction, products liability and consumer protection litigation.
Mr. Daranyi graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 1983, graduating in the top 12% of his class, and received
his Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan.
He is the author of several articles and papers on legal and health issues, including Trial Advocacy in Arizona,
Inpatient Treatment for Addictions: Still a Necessary Alternative, and Deposed! Mr. Daranyi is a member of the
State Bars of Arizona and Texas, and the Pima County Bar Association. Since 1993 he has been an active member, leader, and developer of the Arizona
chapter of The Mankind Project, an international men's support organization. Mr. Daranyi regularly lectures and facilitates workshops on living in
reality, relapse prevention, and self care. Mr. Daranyi has developed a "Simple Self Care Program" which contains seven powerful steps to self care.
